Welcome to Track Eastern Carolina (TEC)! I'm Big Dave Simpson, Head Coach and recruiter of our program. With over 50 years of history in North Carolina, we've guided more than 550 athletes in their track careers, helping secure scholarships to prestigious institutions across the country like Florida State, Tennessee, and Oregon. We're proud to have nurtured athletes who've gone pro, like Todd Gurley and Brandon Banks, and produced numerous Olympians. Our program's accolades include multiple state championships, national recognition, and coaching awards. At TEC, we prioritize both athletic and academic success, offering academic tutoring and support alongside our rigorous training. We're excited about the prospect of your son or daughter joining our program and are committed to helping them reach their fullest potential. Track Eastern has been known as 1 of the best USA Track and Field programs in America. Big Dave was named NSAF National High School coach of the year(2009), for TEC New Bern.
Our program has been involved in over 10 National records and many State records.
